From the automatic sanding and profiling of its doors, CNC saw cutting, in line staining, finishing and curing through automated package cutting and banding, Kountry Wood enjoys superior product consistency along with efficient production and high quality.

All this is accomplished while strictly adhering to stringent environmental stewardship.

Hands on Approach:
A hands on approach from start to finish, is how we like to produce our cabinets. This built in quality control system not only assures you, but us, that the cabinets you’re purchasing are free from manufacturing and material defects. Individual cabinet and drawer assembly, spraying, staining and finishing through the final assembly and packaging are all done under the watchful eye of a trained craftsman. We love our work and we think you will too.

Cabinet Construction:
Cabinet fronts are made from solid wood. Front stiles are pocket-drilled and assembled with screws for rugged durability. Side and back panels are made from 3/8" vinyl covered particleboard. Base cabinets include all wood hanging rails on the sides and back.

Cabinet Doors:
All door frames are constructed using solid wood with mortise and tenoned corner joints. The mission door is constructed of maple veneer and edge banding with particle board core. All center panels are held in place with rubber balls in the dado that allow for any wood expansion and contraction.

  Maple veneer with MDF core
• Harmony:
  Oak or maple veneer with MDF core
• Princeton:
  Cherry veneer with MDF core
• Classic:
  Solid oak or maple veneer with fiberboard core
• Classic Select & Williamsburg:
  Solid knotty alder or solid maple

Drawers:
All drawers are constructed using 1/2" MDF with bull nosed, foil covered top edges and dovetail construction. Drawers glide smoothly on self-adjusting ball bearing nylon guides.

Shelves:
Wall cabinets feature adjustable 1/2" MDF shelves with bull nosed, foil covered front edges. Base cabinets feature fixed center shelves.

Hinges:
Hidden, self-closing hinge.

Finish:
All cabinet front and door surfaces receive stain and a catalyzed clear finish.
